Hmm, for some reason, my iTunes podcast listing isn’t updating with this Focus Test either. I don’t know if it’s a problem on my end or with the AG feed. Any ideas?
It’s not a big deal either way since I can just download the file to my iPod from the site here, but I’m curious if anyone else is having this problem.

“Sensible Software also made umm.. err… uhh…”
Sensible also made CANNON FODDER you FUCKING… something really really nasty!! How can one forget the greatest wargame ever made? It showed all those boring RTS shits what they’re doing wrong before the first RTS game was even released for fuck’s sake!

War! Never had so much fun. Cannon Fodder was a cool game, though I only played it on the SNES, so I don’t know if I got the richest experience out of it. I heard that the Jaguar version was one of the few good games for the system. Its graphics and shooting action remind me of the RTS game that would come later, Z, by the Bitmap Brothers. Were they made by the same guys?

Nah, Sensi ended up being bought by Codemasters in ‘99. I don’t think they ever had anything to do with the Bitmaps. However, the two major Bitmap Brothers guys Mike Montgomery and John Phillips and major Sensible Software guy Jon Hare went and formed Tower Studios together. But that was in 2004, three years after Z.

It took some doing, but I was able to finally play Wizball, and it is a lot of fun! I really had to have patience with it at first though, until I figured out the mechanics. I spent a while learning how the power-ups worked, learning how to send Cat after the falling paint drops, learning how to move to the levels I wanted to move to. I wish I had the manual; I’d love to see how it’s written.
Edit: I know that some folks ‘round these parts consider it an abortion of sorts, but my comfort game has been Marvel vs. Capcom, the first one. It’s loud, it’s bright, and it’s confusing at times, but it’s also a hell of a blast for me, and I find new strategies and combos in it every time I play it. Even though I own a home version, I’ll still pay to play it if I see it in an arcade, that’s how addicted I am.
