So I found out that this place I've rented for my honeymoon has a big TV and broadband internet. Do I take a console with me?

It a reasonable size LCD screen (I think 32-37") and a DVD player with surround sound. You might think I'd be wanting to do other things on my honeymoon but I will need something else to do for the other 23 hours 55 minutes of the day.

If I don't take a gaming system with me the options for occupying my time are as follows.

1 - Going to the beach

2 - swimming in the lake

3 - eating

4 - canoeing. I have nearly drowned in the past so this might not be top of my list.

5 - hiking

6 - watching DVD's on a  reasonable size LCD screen

so option 6 means  option 7 has become available.

7 - playing games

So if I decided to take a game system with me what I would I take and what would I play? Apart from the caveats about I have to like the genre and iit has to be released in PAL land by the end of October.

No plastic instruments, nothing with online play since I'd bet the internet is fairly slow and not wifi.

Nothing on the PC since I don't own a PC laptop. Nothing emulated unless its on XBLA or PSN.

Of the games that come out between now and then that I want we have: Force Unleashed, Fable 2 and Fallout 3, which will only just squeak in if I don't import it. TFU will have been finished weeks before so it looks like Fable 2 would have to be it.

There's also a retro option. Take an older, now disused, console and replay one of the classics I haven't already replayed. WIndwaker? KotOR?, Ratchet and Clank 2? Take the 360 and replay Bioshock, Halo 3 or Gears of War. Take the PS3 and play Uncharted and MGS4?

Or I could just take a break from games for a week or two. I could of course speak to Mrs Pwned at some stage. Hmmm.

So if you had a nice pad for a week, an understanding Missus and a reasonable size LCD, what would you do?
